"Returns"

Recently I have enjoyed great gospel discussions with a few of my girl friends who I like to call the "Returns" (a group of girls that have all returned from missions from various places). Each time the "returns", change it may be Bambi, Becky, and Hailee or Alexis, Hailee, and Amy but we always cover topics we are thinking about. We have covered topics from the millennium and the second coming to making choices, temple work and much much more. It has really got me thinking that i have become lackadaisical when it has come to my scripture study. There is a BIG difference between truly studying the scriptures to receive revelation and direction and just reading them before jumping into bed for the night. With the help of these amazing women that the Lord has blessed me to know I have made the commitment to myself that i will be STUDYING my scriptures for at least a half an hour everyday. I know that as I do this I will be able to receive the guidance and direction that I need and have been searching for.
